Orders containing more than one surfboard may be priced differently. Wherever possible, we consolidate shipments to keep delivery costs down.

USA orders typically take approximately 5–6 weeks before shipment.
As soon as your board leaves us, we'll send you an email confirming dispatch together with your tracking information.
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email containing your tracking details so you can follow its journey.
Surfboards require specialist handling, so every Ascension board is carefully protected before it begins its journey.
Transit damage is unusual, but we strongly recommend taking Shipping Insurance to protect your purchase against loss or damage while it is being transported.
Shipping Insurance is automatically included during checkout for U.K. orders, although you can choose to remove it if you prefer.
If an insured order is lost or damaged in transit, you can submit a claim directly to the Shipping Insurance provider. Once the claim has been approved, the provider will arrange the applicable replacement or refund directly with you.
Please inspect your surfboard as soon as it arrives. If you see any signs of damage, contact us and/or the Shipping Insurance provider promptly so the issue can be dealt with as quickly as possible.
Yes. We currently serve customers through our dedicated U.K. and European websites, with additional regions planned for the future.
Every board is packed with the aim of achieving two things: excellent protection and responsible use of materials.
We use durable, impact-resistant packaging to protect vulnerable areas of the surfboard throughout transport, while avoiding excessive packaging wherever possible.
We also use recyclable packaging materials whenever practical.
Yes — every Ascension Surfboard is shaped and painted to order in limited runs, rather than mass-produced and held in a warehouse. This lets us bring bold, original artwork to every board without the waste of unsold stock.

Every Ascension Surfboard is made to order — shaped and painted specifically for you, in a limited edition run rather than pulled off a warehouse shelf.
Because each board is produced only once it's ordered, we're sorry to say that we're unable to accept returns.
If your board arrives damaged or faulty, please get in touch via our Contact page and we'll do everything we can to make it right.
Dear Surfer,
Picture the moment. You look behind you, paddle hard, and feel the ocean lift you. The water rises in front of you, clear as glass, sunlight pouring through it, colourful fish dancing. The water climbs upward, defying gravity, defying everything in our usual daily earthly experience. And for one suspended second you rise with it. Then you're on your feet, gliding down the glassy face, and everything else falls away.

Somewhere along the way, we noticed something strange: almost every surfboard in the water is plain white. For a sport this beautiful, played on a canvas of blues, greens and golds, the board beneath your feet has stayed colourless since mankind started surfing.
Think about the upgrades we already take for granted. Music in rich stereo instead of flat mono, film in colour instead of black and white, a picture in crisp HD instead of fuzzy analogue. Once you've experienced the richer version, you'll never go back.

Our Philosophy
We believe the world gets better the more people live by five simple values: love, kindness, compassion, humility and patience.
None of these ideas are new. They run through humanity's oldest wisdom traditions, across continents and centuries, and even through the stories we tell our children today. That so many different paths arrive at the same place tells us something important: these values aren't the property of any one faith. They are intrinsic to all humans. They belong to all of us.
Love
Love is the reason we paddle out in the first place: love for the ocean, for the feeling of a perfect ride, for the friends who share the line-up with us. When love leads, everything else follows. Families grow closer, work becomes meaningful, and ordinary days feel full. A life built on love is simply a richer life, and the more of it we give away, the more we seem to receive.
Kindness
Every surfer remembers the stranger who shared a wave, lent them wax, or pointed out a rip current on their first day at a new break. Small acts of kindness cost nothing and are rarely forgotten. They turn a crowded line-up into a close community, and they do the same for workplaces, neighbourhoods and homes. Kindness is contagious: pass it on, and it comes back to you, often when you need it most.
Compassion
Everyone in the water has been caught inside, held under, or wiped out on a wave they should have made. Compassion is remembering that feeling when someone else is struggling. It means paddling over to check on the kid who took a heavy fall, or helping a beginner find their way back to the beach. Compassion connects us. It reminds us that we're all in the same ocean, facing the same waves, just at different stages of the journey.
Humility
Every surfer knows the ocean is always bigger than we are. One day you're riding the best wave of your life; the next you're tumbling in the whitewater. Surfing is deeply humbling, and humility keeps us learning, keeps us safe, and keeps us grateful for the good days. As Master Yoda might put it: humble you must be, for the ocean, a great teacher it is. People who stay humble grow the most, in the water and out of it.
Patience
Surfing is mostly waiting. You sit on your board, watch the horizon, let the wrong waves pass, and have faith that the right one is coming for you. When it arrives, it's all been worth it. Master Yoda spent years teaching a restless young Luke Skywalker that rushing leads one astray, and that the Force rewards those who stay calm. Patience brings better decisions, deeper relationships and a calmer mind. Good things, like good waves, come to those who wait.
Why this matters to us
Whatever religion you follow, or none at all, and whether you like Star Wars or not, life is simply better when we practise and share these values. They make families stronger, friendships deeper, communities kinder, and the world more beautiful.
That is what we set out to do with Ascension Surfboards. And that is what we strive for in every other part of our daily lives. We make limited-edition, super-premium surfboards because we believe their beauty lifts the human spirit. But the deeper purpose is the same one humanity has been reaching for all along.

Artificial Intelligence
At Ascension Surfboards, we use artificial intelligence ("AI") throughout our business. It helps us with product design, manufacturing, quality inspections, distribution, brand marketing, corporate administration, accounting, and much more.
Our surfboard designs are generated using AI models. Many of the models you see wearing our products are either enhanced with AI or entirely AI-generated. We want to be open with you about that, because honesty matters to us as much as beauty does.
Why we embrace AI
For most of human history, the only way to capture a face, a landscape or a moment was to paint it. Paintings were precious, slow to make, and available to very few. Then photography arrived. Suddenly anyone could capture the world as it truly looked: a child's smile, a distant coastline, a wave breaking at sunrise. Photography didn't make the world less beautiful. It filled it with more beauty than ever before and shared it with everyone.
Photography didn't replace painting, either. It freed painters to explore colour, light and emotion in entirely new ways, and some of the most loved art in history followed.
We believe AI is a similar moment. It allows us to imagine colours, patterns and designs that would have been difficult to create by hand, and to bring them to life. It helps a small company like ours work more carefully and spend more of our time and energy on what matters: our customers, our people, and our Heal Our World Commitment.
Our promise
We are proud of how we use AI, and we want you to always know when you're looking at it. Where a model in our imagery is AI-generated, we say so. Where people in our imagery have been enhanced with AI, we never use it to misrepresent our products. Every product image shows the board exactly as you will receive it: the same shape, the same dimensions and the same colours. Our AI-generated models are not real people and do not represent or endorse any real person.
With humility
We don't pretend to have all the answers. AI is a powerful new tool, and like every powerful tool, it must be used wisely. We approach it the way we approach the ocean: with respect, with curiosity, and with the understanding that we're still learning. We will keep asking ourselves whether the way we use it lives up to our values of love, kindness, compassion, humility and patience.
Technology on its own does not make the world better. People do, by choosing how they use it.
We choose to use AI to create more beauty, and to share it as widely as we can.
